PurposeBlack is a groundbreaking initiative launched in May 2020 by a group of over 130 black experts. With the objective implied in its name, PurposeBlack strives to address pressing economic challenges faced by Black people worldwide.
The inaugural model of this global initiative is being prepared for launch in Ethiopia. It is our firm belief that this novel approach presents a remarkable opportunity for Ethiopia and Africa to take a pivotal role in a massive international enterprise that will bring substantial benefits to millions of Africans.
The PurposeBlack Ethiopia initiative is an extensive undertaking, including the establishment and introduction of a mega agro-processing complex, an e-commerce marketplace, five hypermarkets, ten large-scale supermarkets, and an expansive network of over a thousand retail and distribution outlets across Ethiopia.
