Nisir Microfinance Institution S.C has announced external vacancies and is inviting qualified candidates for the following positions:
Position 1: Junior Auditor
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting & Finance or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- 2 years of relevant experience, with 1 year in an auditing position.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct pre and post-audit activities of branches and departments according to approved audit programs.
- Witness handing over formalities between officials and employees of the institution.
- Conduct special investigations into suspected fraud and embezzlement.
- Examine and analyze accounting and financial records to verify accuracy.
- Inspect activities to measure compliance with set standards, work procedures, policies, rules, and regulations.
- Evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of established control systems and procedures.
- Prepare reports on audit findings and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform other related duties as required.
Position 2: Branch Manager
- Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Management, Business Administration, Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
- Work Experience:
- 4-6 years of relevant experience, including 1-2 years in a managerial position.
Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, coordinate, and control the branch’s overall savings and credit activities.
- Participate in the development, preparation, and implementation of savings and credit operation systems.
- Administer the branch’s operational, financial, and staffing activities.
- Prepare and submit financial and work plans for the branch.
- Oversee branch activities, including client mobilization, loan approval, disbursement, repayment collection, and savings account administration.
- Train and assist credit and savings officers in loan disbursement processes and operations.
- Ensure all branch transactions and performance reporting are accurate.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Operations Manager.
