Link Education Ethiopia Internship Vacancies for Fresh Graduates


Link Education Ethiopia (LEE) is part of Link Education International (LEI), a not-for-profit organization working to transform education for children and communities in impoverished areas of Ethiopia, Malawi, Rwanda, and Uganda. LEE is currently seeking interns for the following positions:

Position 1: Finance & Administration Intern

Qualifications:

  • Female youth student from an accredited university (graduate or undergraduate) in her last year before graduation, needing practical work experience to fulfill academic requirements.
  • Female youth graduate who needs to gain practical work experience in her area of study within 12 months of her graduation date.
  • Age between 18 and 29 as per National Youth Policy.

Essential:

  • Pursuing or possessing a Diploma/BA Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Good communication skills in English and Amharic.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Sympathy with Link’s aims and objectives.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and action.
  • Commitment to Link’s Safeguarding and gender policies.
  • High standards of integrity, negotiating skills, and ability to manage external relationships.

Location: Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

Contract Type: Internship Contract (3 months with possibility of extension to a maximum of 6 months)

Position 2: Programme Assistant Intern

Qualifications:

  • Female youth student from an accredited university (graduate or undergraduate) in her last year before graduation, needing practical work experience to fulfill academic requirements.
  • Female youth graduate who needs to gain practical work experience in her area of study within 12 months of her graduation date.
  • Age between 18 and 29 as per National Youth Policy.

Essential:

  • Pursuing or possessing a B.ED/B.A Degree in Social Studies, Education, Education Planning & Management, Economics, Gender Studies, Social Science, or related areas.
  • Good communication skills in English and Amharic.
  • Strong interpersonal and team skills.
  • Analytical, problem-solving, detailed-oriented, and organizational skills.
  • Sympathy with Link’s objectives and values.
  • Commitment to humanitarian principles and action.
