Global Insurance Company (S.C.) (GIC) is seeking to hire the following professionals.
Established in March 1997 by 23 founding shareholders, Global Insurance Company is a private insurance company with a paid-up capital of Birr 3.75 million. Over the years, its paid-up capital has grown to Birr 150.6 million with an authorized capital of Birr 250 million. GIC has 176 shareholders and holds total assets worth over Birr 413 million. It operates from its own building located in Addis Ababa, Gobena Abba Tigu Street (Somale Tera). The company offers general insurance services through its 21 branches and one contact office in different parts of the country. From a small start with less than 25 employees, GIC now has a total staff of 224 employees. In addition to its core business of general insurance, the company provides modern vehicle inspection services at its Kality recovery yard in Addis Ababa and in Harar town.
Position 1: Senior Underwriting Officer
Qualification: BSC/BA in Statistics, Mathematics, Management, Marketing, or related fields.
Relevant Experience: Four (4) years

Position 2: Audit and Inspection Service Manager
Qualification: BA in Accounting, Auditing, and related fields.
