Position 1: Bank Trainee
– Qualifications: BA Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, Banking and Finance, Management, or related fields.
– Experience: 0 years (for fresh graduates)
Purpose of the Job:
To enhance customer satisfaction by serving them efficiently and promoting the bank’s products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Process customer transactions
– Attend to customers at the counter
– Assist with account opening and cross-selling bank products
– Handle cash transactions
– Post business transactions
– Prepare cash and non-cash instruments
– Process clearance of negotiable instruments
– Collect and deliver cash from/to the vault
Location: Gode Branch-2, Somali
Position 2: Customer Service Supervisor
– Qualifications: B.A Degree in Accounting and Finance, Economics, or related fields.
– Experience: Four years in banking.
Key Job Duties & Responsibilities:
– Manage the vaults
– Handle cash consignments
– Open and assign tills for Customer Service Officers
– Collect/deliver cash from/to Customer Service Officers
– Manage cash areas and customer inquiries on cash activity
– Assist with handling bulk cash deposits/withdrawals
– Monitor daily customer service operations
Location: Gode Branch-2, Somali
Position 3: Chief Cashier
– Qualifications: BA Degree in Economics, Accounting and Finance, Banking, Management, or related fields.
– Experience: Minimum of 3 years in branch operations in the banking industry.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
– Handle clerical, bookkeeping, and administrative cash-handling tasks
– Maintain a balance of large amounts of currency
– Safeguard confidential information
– Execute assigned duties effectively
– Maintain customer service orientation
– Supervise debit, credit, or cash transactions
– Review cash accounts daily
Location: Gode Branch-2, Somali
Salary: As per Shabelle Bank Scale Salary plus an attractive benefit package.
