Position 1: Customer Services Officer – I

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields of studies.
  • Experience Requirement: 1 (One) year of relevant experience in a bank or 2 years at Micro Finance institutions.

Competencies Required:

  • Understands the basic mechanisms of general financial products and services.
  • Good knowledge of the bank’s accounting and procedures.
  • Ability to respond to basic client inquiries and instructions and the capability of advising and resolving most issues and requests.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent command of Microsoft Office and good command of the core banking system.

Position 2: Customer Service Officer II

  • Qualification Requirement: Bachelor’s Degree in a business-related field, e.g., Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration.
  • Experience Requirement: 2 (Two) years of relevant experience in a bank.

Job Description:

  • Responsible for making/checking front office customer service support at the branch.
  • Handle/check account maintenance, payment and collection transactions, and respond to customer inquiries.
  • Handle cash and non-cash transactions and all customer requests at the branch.

Place of Work: Jimma

Position 3: Senior Customer Services Officer

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking and Insurance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields of study.
  • Experience Requirement: 5 (Five) years of relevant experience in a bank.

The Senior Customer Service Officer:

  • Provides front office customer service support at the branch.
  • Handles account management transactions.
  • Responds to customer inquiries.
  • Handles cash and non-cash transactions and all customer requests at the branch.

Place of Work: Jimma

Position 4: Branch Manager I

  • Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, or other related fields of study.
  • Required Experience: Minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience at a bank, out of which One (1) Year as a Customer Services Manager or equivalent role.

Candidates applying for managerial positions shall possess key competencies and skills including:

  • Sufficient knowledge of modern management techniques.
